Auto Insurance suprise

 Got my renewal notice in the mail today. An unpleasant surprise to the tune of $600 rate hike! After perusing the paperwork for a few minutes, noticed that I no longer qualify for the "good driver" discount. Must be due to an accident I was involved in recently - most definitely not my fault. Probably my insurance record doesn't reflect the final who-is-at-fault determination findings. At least I hope it's that simple. Somehow I am not surprised - it feels like at least once a day someone must screw up just to make your life a little more interesting (euphemism for miserable). More phone calls tomorrow.
